Attendo is a leading care and healthcare company that provides high quality services on behalf of public payors. To ensure that our services are adapted to each individual’s needs and wishes, as well as complying with the legislator’s requirements and/or the payors demands, Attendo collects and processes various personal information.
Our ambition is to make you feel safe when you provide personal information or other privacy-sensitive data to Attendo. We process and manage all personal information in accordance with a defined data protection policy that aims to ensure that we take the necessary steps to protect sensitive data.
All processing of personal information is based on the provisions of applicable privacy protection legislation and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other guidelines applicable to the Attendo Group.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Attendo AB (publ) is legally responsible in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, for all the processing of personal information that takes place in all parts of Attendo.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We usually use personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide personalized care and healthcare in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; this includes reporting and planning of care and healthcare actions.
- To apply for tax deductions for your household services
- To create and manage invoices
- To handle applications, answer your questions or inform you about changes / news regarding our service offering or available positions
- To be able to fulfill our obligations as an employer
Personal information is stored for as long as is required to meet the above purposes, or as long as we are required by law to do so. Personal information that is no longer required is deleted periodically.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
You are at any time entitled to request a transcript of the personal information we have stored about you. If you request this more frequently than once per calendar year, an administrative fee will be charged to handle your request.
If information about you is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have the information corrected, changed or deleted. You can also revoke your consent at any time without any legal requirements. However, information held due to a statutory requirement for storage will not be deleted; for example, due to accounting rules or information needed to enable Attendo to fulfill its commitments to customers and/or employees.
To request information about the personal information we have about you, or to make changes to existing information, please contact us by filling out and submitting the form provided on this page as instructed on the form. Do not forget to attach a certified copy of a passport or other valid ID documents of your (and, if applicable, your agent’s) identity. Otherwise, we will not be able to fulfill your request.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Attendo may only disclose your personal information to third parties when needed to deliver our services or to fulfill our commitments to, for example, a public payor. For example, we can disclose information when we are required to use the local authority’s journal system, to the Tax Agency for application of tax deductions, for distribution of salary specifications, and to payment agencies for collection of claims.
In addition, your personal information may also be disclosed to Attendo's IT service providers. This means that your personal data may be sent outside the EU / EEA area. When transferring to third party countries, Attendo will ensure that necessary safeguards have been taken.
Attendo AB (publ) is legally responsible for all personal data handled by the parent company and the subsidiaries. The suppliers that Attendo use act as Personal Data Assistants. The Personal Data Assistants are required to follow Attendo's instructions and are not entitled to disclose your personal information to anyone else or to use them for other purposes than those covered by Attendo's instructions. Personal Data Assistants are also required to take technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
Personal information may also be disclosed when required by law, regulation or by court or government decision.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We are continuously taking technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. Our security measures are continuously adapted to keep up with technical developments and to prevent possible threats.

There are two different types of cookies: permanent and temporary. Attendo's websites use both types of cookies to save statistics about how many visitors we have and which pages they visit. We do not save any personal information in cookies.
