Attendo committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in early 2026

Attendo’s sustainability commitment is part of the core of its business strategy, with the aim of achieving long-term sustainable, and therefore profitable, operations. Attendo creates value while taking responsibility for its role in society and its impact on the environment and climate. Attendo’s Board of Directors decided that the company will join the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and, within the 24 months following its commitment, establish science-based climate targets at the group level. The commitment was approved and published by SBTi in early 2026. This is an important strategic step for Attendo in contributing to limiting climate change in line with the Paris Agreement.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global collaboration between the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Its purpose is to mobilize companies to set science-based emission reduction targets that help limit climate change. Read more about SBTi here: https://sciencebasedtargets.org
